ネパールNGOネットワーク（４N）からのお願い

　ネパール王国首相　ギリジャ・プラサッド・コイララ殿

　私たちネパールNGO連絡会は、貴国において人々とともに長年にわたって開発協力を行ってきた日本のNGOのネットワークです。このNGO連絡会には、現在四半世紀以上もの活動歴を持つ団体をはじめとして、52の団体が加盟しております。
　今回の元ビレンドラ国王・王妃両陛下を始めとする王族のご崩御に対する、貴国の人々の悲しみは如何ばかりかと存じ、心からのお悔やみを申し上げます。

　私たちは、今回の悲しむべき事件の発生からいち早く立ち直り、貴国が安寧を取り戻しつつあることについて、貴閣下をはじめとする貴国指導者各位のご努力に敬意を表するものであります。

　平和と民主主義は、私たちＮＧＯの協力活動と友好においても、極めて大切なことです。ネパールを愛しネパールの人々とともに協力活動をしてきたNGOのネットワークとして、安心して協力活動が行えるように、引き続きご尽力くださいますよう要望いたします。

Prime Minister Girija Prasad Koirala,

On behalf of Nippon(Japan) NGO Network for Nepal, we offer our sincerecondolences to the people of Nepal on the demise of His Late Majesty King　Birendra and Her Late Majesty Queen Aishwarya, along with other members of the Royal Family.

We have committed ourselves to development cooperation in Nepal for many years. 52 organizations belong to this network including those which have been in operation for a quarter of a century.
We are quite concerned with the feeling of the people of Nepal.

We pay our respect to the efforts of His Majesty and each of leading persons in Nepal as you overcome this lamentable incident and restore stability.

Peace and democracy are quite important in terms of our activities and　friendship. We, as the NGO network that loves Nepal and has cooperated with the people of Nepal, request the Government of Nepal to keep on making efforts so that we can conduct our activities with the assurance that the peace has been restored.
